E27

This is one of the most common types of threads. The diameter is 27 mm. This type is found on all 230 V light sources, classic light bulbs, halogen energy saving and LED lamps. They are often used for ceilings, walls or chandeliers.

E14

The same thread as the E27 is used for light bulbs, halogen and LED or energy saving lamps. The diameter of the Brine is smaller than that of the E27 and measures 14 mm. The operating voltage is 230 V. Mainly this type is used for table and spotlamps as well as clusters, which have several lamps.

GU10

This base has no thread, but two brackets with a diameter of 5 mm, which are only clamped into the lamp and then turn slightly. The operating voltage is 230 V. This type is most frequently found in halogen and LED lamps. They are used for ceiling lamps, floodlights, as bath or WC lighting.

G4

Screwless base, which is fixed in the lamp with two brackets (4 mm distance). The operating voltage is 12 V. They are usually found in kitchens, ceilings or bars.

GU5.3

Screwless base, which is attached to the lamp with two brackets (1 mm diameter). The brackets have a distance of 5.3 mm, the base is designed for 12 V. This type of mounting is usually found with halogen or LED bulbs, which are used as a spotlight or in small lamps.

G9

Again, the base has no thread. It has two brackets, which are clamped in the lamp. This is the smallest used size of halogen and LED bulbs. The voltage is 230 V. The most common ones are in ceilings, as spotlights or for bathroom and WC lighting.

R7s

The base is in the form of a tube which is fixed with two forks (distance 78 to 189 mm). The operating voltage is 230 V. This type is found in halogen headlights, LED and floor lamps or designer lighting.
