I've been using it for about 3 weeks. As far as ambient sound dampening is concerned, I didn't notice a difference between these plastic and regular foam earbuds.
I give it two stars for the fact that it muffles ambient sounds. Of course, I give only two, since it dampens as much as regular foam plugs for a few crowns.
On both plugs, the grip that it pulls out by broke off. I had trouble getting it out of my ear at night. Maybe I had it too deep. However, when I had it less, the plugs would fall out.
