I have already tried several options to protect the display of the watch and I have lost an amount that is no longer negligible and objectively I must say that the smaller the watch (I have a 40mm), the more unrealistic the application of any protection. 1. Either you get a cover with an integrated screen protector, which will hold sweat, dirt, water, dust and after a week you won't see anything on the screen at all, including horrible display response 2. Or you get a tempered glass, but again, it will be so hard that if you hit an edge, for example, when you run your finger over the display, it will lift the edge of the glass and come off. In addition, the glass is overwhelmingly unusable with a quality watch body protector 3. Or out of sheer desperation, you get an AlzaGuard plastic film where the technician tells you up front that it will most likely turn out very badly and even why. The plastic is bound to get scratched, which not only looks ugly, but also reduces readability. In addition, I was told that after applying the plastic protection, there is a risk of a significant reduction in the operability of the display and peeling off due to the fact that the application fluid dries very quickly and bubbles are likely to form, which I will not even have time to remove. Unfortunately this happened and before I got home bubbles had formed, the watch was completely uncontrollable and when I tried to push the bubbles out the foil fell off. 4. There are still super thin plastic films, but you will find out that this is extreme nonsense when you open the box. Bottom line, the glass on the watch itself can withstand a lot of abuse, however, if you overdo it, you will damage it. Even so, it can be relied on very well. So if you have a smaller version of the watch like me (40mm), God forbid smaller, you will most likely end up with the same. Interestingly, with the previous 44mm version of the watch, I had no problem with the application of the screen protector. It's not even talked about much, because usually a woman will get a smaller version of the watch and she won't dig into the "motors", so she doesn't think about protecting the display. Incredible thanks in any case to Alza for the change of personnel in the display protection application department. I met two technicians there who really know their job and even in busy times they work with a calm head, discretion and absolutely incredible care and willingness.
The plastic film peeled off an hour after application
Plastic film cut off from touch response an hour after application
The plastic film managed to get scratched within an hour of application during normal use
The plastic film is very soft
This is not glass in any way
In every respect a waste of money despite the absolutely professional sticking of the plastic film by very experienced staff in Holešovice

fits perfectly - compared with other glasses that protruded by about 1mm
compared to other users, I was able to glue the glass without any problems
it feels like a semi-rigid film rather than glass (it is partially pliable)
I missed the lack of more detailed instructions - e.g. in the form of a video
at first it was not clear to me how to fix the position of the glass before the final gluing
