Not sure what's going on – I have a new LG 32u850sa monitor (which has 90W Power Delivery) and a Lenovo ThinkPad – and the laptop won't charge via this cable (meaning Power Delivery isn't working), but data transfer (the screen) works.
When I connect it with a USB-C to USB-C cable from an iPhone 16, it only charges the laptop but doesn't transmit the video (because it's just a cable for charging an iPhone).
So this cable doesn't work for my set-up, even though it probably should.

After using a new USB cable, my phone’s battery started to go faulty. Since then, the phone’s battery has been draining quickly, the battery percentage drops suddenly, and sometimes it even switches itself off. I’m disappointed because I’ve never had a problem like this before.
