Li-ion 18650 batteries are better suited for this charger with charging current not exceeding 0.50A. The disadvantage of this charger is if I charge NiMh batteries, specifically AA and AAA I tried, so in any stage of charging the charger cpeeps 1A, which batteries get very hot I measured up to the value of AA 57 Celsius, AAA I preferred not to test where it climbs.

I use the refresh function a lot with this charger and am a little embarrassed by how it works. The good thing is that it can discharge and recharge the battery 3 times and I don't have to worry about it. Which is worthwhile, you just don't really know what their capacity is in the end. The refresh function quite often shows absolutely crazy capacities, which does not inspire that much confidence. For the 2400mAh batteries I got down to a 20000mAh capacity on the display, but I forgot to take a picture of it, so here at least I'll put a picture with a 12000mAh capacity. Another problem is with the temperature of the batteries. The display will show max. 40C, but the batteries are so hot you can't keep your finger on them. I measured 55C.
