These are brilliant headphones; when I bought them, I thought they wouldn’t be very comfortable in my ears, as I’m a long-time user of earbuds. But the AirPods 3 Pro have pleasantly surprised me, and, most importantly, I don’t feel like I’ve got them in my ears – I’d been worried they’d irritate my ears. If you’re put off buying these headphones simply because they’re earbuds, there’s no need to worry.
Excellent ANC, heart rate sensor.
The AirPods 3 Pro case is draining quickly, even though I put the earphones back in the case when it’s at 97%, so I don’t know where the battery is draining from.

I bought the Apple AirPods Pro 3 as an upgrade from the AirPods Pro 1, and the difference is really striking. Even on first listen, you can tell that the sound is clearer, more spacious and, overall, significantly more balanced. But I think the biggest improvement is in active noise cancellation (ANC) – compared to the first generation, it’s in a completely different league, and it’s finally truly ‘quiet’ on public transport or in the office.
I was also very surprised by the improvement in comfort. The earphones sit more securely in the ear and don’t cause any discomfort, even when worn for long periods, which was sometimes an issue with the first generation. Control via the Apple ecosystem is, of course, seamless; instant pairing and switching between devices works exactly as you’d expect.
All in all, it’s exactly the sort of upgrade that makes you realise straight away that making the switch from the first generation was worth it.

As usual, a good and fast connection to the phone
Good sound, especially the bass
I don't use it very often, but I've tried the noise reduction feature – it's quite good
Absolutely uncomfortable when worn in the ear
After listening, you have a headache
Unlike the AirPods 2, it doesn’t allow you to skip to the next track by double-clicking. You basically just need to press the button on your headphones. So awkward!
