I don't have brutal expectations from the printer but it's a printer for 12 hundred so maybe no one expects 3D printing and special effects.
Connected to the HP laptop completely cool. Even though it's an older model.

For me, everything was understandable and put into operation within half an hour.
When printing color pictures, photos, the quality is pretty average but again I do not expect any world-beating miracles with a printer for 1200 and for student needs it is really enough.

I returned the printer because for some unknown reason the printer does not support printing on A4 photo paper. When you set up A4 size photo paper in the system, you get a nonsensical error that doesn't explain anything. When one wants to connect a printer to wifi, one has to find the manual online to even find out how to do it. You need to download the "Canon IJ Network Device Setup Utility" from the internet, connect the printer to your computer with a wire, and then you can connect it to Wifi.
