The pricing policy for monitor lights is strange. I can't explain why a couple of LEDs cost so much. This is one of the cheapest ones and my impression is that it doesn't lag behind the more expensive ones. The body is metal and looks solid. The light can be adjusted to shine where you need it to. The dimming function and the change of light temperature are sufficient, the touch control works smoothly. It's just that you can't see the buttons in the dark. It doesn't need to be backlit, some more prominent markings would suffice. Since every monitor is different in shape, no mounting system is perfect. Here the light just sits on top and the plastic part presses it against the back. If I accidentally pull the cable, the light will definitely fly off, but otherwise it holds surprisingly well.
