Low-load noise is fine if you tune the fan speed to the lower hundreds of RPM. But it is one of the noisier ones under load. Otherwise, the case is quite practical, for a price slightly above 3 thousand, probably good, but I would expect a little more attention to detail and quality from Fractal. Compared to the old Fractal Define R3, it's definitely better.

I needed a cabinet for my new build, a cabinet that wouldn't flash like a Christmas tree, but would be complete with a sleek design that would fit nicely into any normal room, and also be functional and provide good airflow. I have been in love with Fractal North since its release and although functionality should probably play the biggest role when choosing a case, I have to admit that design was the biggest factor here. You don't see a lot of wooden elements in computer cases and I have to say that it really works here and with the addition of subtle RGB in warm colours the case looks really beautiful. During cable-management, the case did not cause any problems and has enough places to attach cables, but I would appreciate if there was at least one extra SSD slot in the back. Fortunately, the installed HDD brackets have the possibility to mount also classic SSDs and so it is not such a problem (I don't know if it's already standard today, my old PC didn't have it). The case also has perfect access to the dust filters, which are easily removable, and is also quite spacious overall, and I was able to cram the RTX 4070 in the Panther version with a massive cooler, with about 2cm to spare from the front fans. But this brings us to the biggest problem with this case, the cooling, which was really disappointing. The factory 140mm fans hum like a Eurofighter at NATO days, which would be survivable if it at least had some airflow, but it doesn't. For this reason, I also bought Bequiet Silent wings 4 pro fans, which are much better and after sealing the remaining holes in the front panel that were left after mounting between the fans, I got perfect airflow. That's why I recommend buying higher quality aftermarket fans for this case, assuming you'll be building a build with more powerful hardware.

Note that the optional rear fan can only be 120mm. So you can't use the ones supplied with the box - they are 140mm. Otherwise there was not a single problem when building the comp with the box. Everything went beautifully together and apart, nothing was jerking anywhere. All sorts of caps and diapers always came out beautifully. Once the box is completely removed, there is great access everywhere. The front USB-C is 3.1 Gen2. Airflow super. Lots of dust filters. The only thing I would welcome in retrospect are a little wider cable gaps for the power supply of the motherboard and graphics card.
