I wanted to try pure android and a phone from Google for the first time. And for the last time. The phone got very hot even with normal use, many different bugs in the system, and the worst were missed calls with both the classic sim and esim. Without ringing, it just reports the caller unavailable and you just get a missed call sms, there are forums full of this on the web. The problem persisted even after the complaint and replacement with a new piece.
Great cameras
pure android
At 5g, the phone gets insanely hot
even with lighter use I had a max at the end of the day. 20% flashlights
When using the camera app or other apps ( Instagram, youtube ) the phone heats up after 15 minutes to the point where you can't even hold your finger on the screen
Missed calls, phone doesn't ring and after a few minutes you get a missed call sms.
Phone doesn't keep signal in places where other brands are OK

When I bought the phone, I wanted to order a protective glass. However, I did not find this option in the offer and therefore chose the foil. I wasn't satisfied with the foil because the first time I cleaned it with a cloth, it left smudges. Fortunately, I noticed that the foil was stuck with a bubble, so everything was resolved within the claim. At the same time, I could have had protective glass glued on and paid the difference. So the lesson is that you just need to add extra protective glass to your order and then they can glue it at any shop on the spot.
great phone with a lot of advantages, I would highlight the macro photography, which surpassed what I was able to take with a DSLR with macro rings
When purchased, you can not see the possibility of sticking the protective glass, only the protective film

I've wanted a reference phone from Google for a long time, but I still didn't like the phones. That's changed with this generation of Pixels. I have been an iPhone user for many years and use Google services exclusively on my phone. So I thought I'd give Pixel a try this year. The contents of the package is quite austere, cable, usb-c to usb-a reduction and the phone itself, otherwise nothing. I searched in vain for a charger, but that's the trend nowadays. The phone itself is superbly crafted and very nice in matte black. It feels quite heavy when you take it in your hand, but the quality is good. After switching on the great display, we logged in and set up the phone. I was very excited about everything. Everything automatically logged in, updated, everything is flying like clockwork, no hitches, no lag, nothing. The operation of the system is exemplary or flagship. The fingerprint reader is good, I've never had it not recognize my finger. Also, the Face ID analogy with the Titan chip combination works well too. In good light, it always unlocks the phone without you being able to put a fingerprint. The certification for banks works too, so you can use face ID for banking too, but only in good light. Otherwise, you have to use a fingerprint. Let's move on to the cameras. There is nothing to complain about. How many times have I taken a normal photo and looked at the photo in the gallery over and over again in amazement, shaking my head in disbelief that this would come out of my phone. And it's macro. This is one big WOW! My phone forced me to go for walks and take pictures all the time. I enjoyed the shoot immensely. Until the sobering and great disappointment of endurance came. In a normal scenario where you take your phone out of the charger in the morning fully charged and use it normally, i.e. whatsapp, browser, here and there some call, no games, a few photos, 2-3h Spotify in the background and the phone died at 5 pm. I reply to a message and 3% of the battery disappears during the message. And so it was with everything. Then I was afraid to pick up the phone to see the evening. So charging twice a day. To blame is the Tensor processor, which is inefficient and quite heating and drains the 5050mh battery like nothing. And one more observation. If you're on wifi at home, the battery life isn't too bad at 6-6.5 sometimes 7h SoT, but it's a different story when you're only on data. There I had a max of 4 to 4.5h SoT, but more commonly those 4h. And that's woefully short. I'm off wifi for a minimum of 10h every day and I wouldn't be allowed to use my phone to get through the evening without a charger. I had read that the battery would sit down after 2-3 weeks and that the AI would learn to use the phone more efficiently, but that somehow didn't happen. A slight improvement, yes, but nothing major. And carrying around a heavy power bank is not gonna cut it. So unfortunately the Pixel went out into the world. A big disappointment from Google. If there's a Tensor processor in the Pixels, it's still a better choice to have an iPhone and use Google services than this. When they get a proper Snapdragon, I'll be happy to come back, but not like this. And I say that as a Pixel and Google fan.
Great display, flat!, sunlight readability, 120Hz, AoD - nothing to complain about
The cameras made me sit on my ass, I couldn't believe the pictures coming out of it, unbelievable
pure vanilla android and 7 years of updates
certified Face ID for banking via front camera in combination with Titan chip (only in good light, otherwise fingerprint)
I haven't had the slightest problem with the fingerprint reader, it works great
Functional 5G and VoLTE
Tensor processor, that's the biggest weakness of this otherwise great device. It's probably eating the air around it. I don't understand how Google will kill a device this good with a processor this bad. If they had put Snapdragon there would be almost nothing to complain about.
Performance compared to other flags
quite frequent heating up especially during shooting
terrible battery life, with normal use the phone died around 6pm daily (the Tensor and Samsung data modem used is to blame)
Size and weight, it's already a paddle and you can really feel it in your pocket

Although I'm a big fan of Pixels, I didn't keep it. One should have specific reasons why one buys Pixel (Graphene for example). Otherwise, for the same money, the S23 Ultra makes more sense to a wider audience. The Samsungs need a lot of combing over, getting Gcam and others, but in the end it will be a lot more music for the same money.
probably the best calibrated camera output of any phone currently on sale
vanilla Android
material design at its best
GrapheneOS option
flat display - no problem with panzer glasses
Unfortunately, Tensor still doesn't catch Snapdragon at all
128GB base memory is not enough, extra charge for 256GB unchristian
I missed a few (but more important) improvements from OneUI - e.g. enable always-on only if there are unread notifications
persistent problems with Samsung modems - in 5G networks and in general
relatively limited customization of the environment

From my point of view, the battery life is not nearly as bad as the reviews agree
Surprisingly good transfer of apps and data from a competitor's previous phone
The notorious advantages that made me buy it (camera except for the embarrassing AI spell results, big luxurious display, fast response. )
even with a 2-year-old model I did not expect a totally dead battery, the phone went on after 5 minutes of fast charging, we will see what the consequences on battery life will be
the sales culture is declining. The standard white hard box isn't covered with foil (worth a few pennies), so in the box it was grubby from shipping, secured with tacky stickers until I was scared I was getting used goods. I was calmed down after watching a couple of videos "Unboxing. " on YouTube. I would have imagined the sale of a "flagship" differently, a tarnished first impression is hard to remedy

For the money I thought it would be better and more stable than the products of Chinese manufacturers, but it disappointed. The only thing I can highlight is the camera, which takes beautiful pictures. I must have a defective piece, because some apps crash right after launching. These are the various connections to the oi. share, qfile - filing system from qnap, bluetooth disconnects, then google cast doesn't find anything nearby.
The camera shoots beautifully
System response
Google services
Several applications like qnap Qfile, OI are not working. Olympus share, no cast, no mirroring, no Google share. All apps are blind and can't see anything in the environment.
Disconnects bluetooth devices such as watches, speakers, headphones

Overall I'm happy with the phone, I like it a lot, it's basically the best smartphone I've had, but it's spoiled by little things that are a bit annoying.
Excellent camera
Great sound
Pure Android, more user-friendly than various add-ons from competitors. Clear, logical.
Excellent, clear picture.
Some ads put crosses in the corner of the screen, and the display sensitivity is worse in those places. You click five times before you get rid of the ad. For some, the narrow frame is an advantage, for me not so much.
The range of accessories in the Czech Republic is pitiful. I had to order the cover elsewhere.
Applied protective glass, unfortunately glossy, I had to buy a matte film and stick it on myself. Otherwise, you can't touch the phone without there being a nasty smudge. It would like to expand the offer in terms of the application of protective elements. I'd appreciate a glass for the camera.
