I' d rather buy the Pixel 8 at full price. With a discount, it' s probably the best option in compact phones. Although still slow compared to last year' s Pixel 7a, wireless charging is already usable. Sometimes the night mode, which does not turn off in the morning, is annoying. Still very limited options for customizing google launcher. Nice display and very fast system. GSM and WiFi sensitivity much better than the backup Xiaomi 13. Pure Android without ballast + option to install beta A15. 1 day battery life is fine, but I use AA via cable every day, so I don' t care about the battery. I originally wanted the Pixel 8, but the price difference doesn' t match the slightly better parameters for photo and charging. Overall with 8a satisfaction and recommendation.

I definitely recommend the phone, it has the ambition to become a loyal partner for everyday reality without embellishments.
