The quality of the photos is, in my opinion, excellent for a mobile phone in this price category. I appreciate the better fugitive portrait mode than on previous iPhones and it can also cope nicely with more demanding lighting conditions - the extremes of the transition of "translucent" vs dark scenes using the latest version of smart HDR - it can do this thanks to AI better than the vast majority of even premium compacts (e.g. Sony RX100 or even Ricoh GR III! ). Of course, thanks to the small sensor, there is a higher sum in low-light conditions compared to premium cameras, but probably (resp. obviously) cannot overcome the "laws of physics" even by clever algorithms. I still virtually tip my hat to where the SE 2 has got to with the quality of mobile phone photos in this price category! Even the video is very good from my point of view and the speed and accuracy of focusing often (in my opinion) surprisingly surpassed the premium compacts in the price of around 20 thousand CZK. So for the photo and video at this price a big thumbs up. And I'm quite a demanding user. Perhaps only the missing night mode can freeze, but it can be made up by a suitable third-party application - I do not want (and probably should not) advertise which application it is - I believe that visual users will find it and I think they will be satisfied
Honestly, apart from the camera, there are not many (i.e. very subjective) other essential parameters for me to evaluate for choosing the SE2. It has a really fast processor, I mean a big enough RAM, but I don't appreciate that too much
I am fully comfortable with Touch ID fingerprint, I am not going to argue with someone about Face ID.
I do not like the excessive size of the SE2 for my taste. It is too big for me to use comfortably with one hand/thumb. And this is also the reason why, after about 3 days of using the iPhone SE2, I gave my SE2 to my wife and returned to my current iPhone SE first generation, which I personally consider the best possible mobile phone for my needs. Just in case, I am neither a midget nor a 50kg girl, but I am a guy with a height of over 190cm and I have over 110kg. I really don't have any little fingers. I really don't need someone to try to convince me of the "perversity" of my opinion. As long as my SE1 works (I have 2 of them), I'll use them until they fall apart. Howk: -)
Another observation: on the display of SE2 I got scratches on the display and on the back of the phone even with very gentle and considerate handling. After 3 days my SE2 looks roughly like my SE1, which I have been using in the same way for about 2 years. No sprinkles. I don't use covers, in my opinion they kill the design of the phone and make it too fat. Again, I don't need any excuse comments, I am stating the bare facts of my use. So I'll blink back a tear, and hope that my SE1 will last as long as possible before I'm "forced" to switch to some bigger iPhone, which I'm resisting, starting with the size of the SE2: -( Unfortunately, I understood that the last usable iPhone for me in terms of size was probably the SE1: -((((( share my personal honest opinion, nothing more, nothing less
