This great speaker has very good bass and crystal clear highs. When I compare it with the Charge 4, the Charge 5 has a slightly better sound. Charge 4 was a little more bassy, Charge 5 is more balanced. Unfortunately, the handsfree is missing, older models had it. At higher volumes in the room it loses a bit of bass, but outdoors it has bass even at higher volumes. I would already compare the Charge 5 to a portable discotheque.
