It's working. A proven brand, our second pressure gauge in life. But over the decades some things have gone for the worse. We still have a fully functional (like new) old model HEM-703C from 1991. It has a sound signal, it has special START and ON/OFF buttons. The cuff is better processed, plus the whole hose is rubber, which can be pulled out at any time and does not pump as violently as this new M3 model. The cuff inflates too violently, even the fingertips tingle. I've never seen that, only with these "modern" pressure gauges. It seems to me that the manufacturers have set the era that even a change of button colour is considered a new model. Isn't one full-size model enough? I had my work cut out for me to choose one. The big minus is that the M3 can spontaneously start at any time if you have batteries in it. I recommend not to use them and always have only the adapter. The START/STOP button immediately starts pumping air. It does not have a separate ON/OFF mode. The cuff cannot be pulled out after inserting into the device. I don't have much confidence in the rubber that is fitted to this valve from the cuff, only 8mm is fitted, with the HEM-703C this supply hose is complete and easy to connect. Why did we switch to the new model? The old one doesn't have such a long cuff, so I chose the M3, which is 42cm and our doctors use the same ones. For the money, a cheap case, and it's silicone (probably because of the shape of the device). The HEM-703C had a more adequate housing. M3 has a base for 2 people. It can remember these even after disconnection from the power. It always stores the last 4 measurements. But I don't understand why it doesn't remember the actual date and time. Obviously there is a battery fault, which would ensure the feeling of time. So if you use an adapter, you need to set the time after each one. Ideally, it would have a radio adjustable date. Compared to the HEM-703C, it has the advantage that it does not audibly signal the current pulse, which used to lead to the patient tending to change breathing or even to pause and, on the contrary, his pulse increased.
