This year's top model from Samsung, I really like the OneUI system, it does everything you can think of, it's stable, I can customize everything I need, although it's a really massive upgrade from the original ANdroid. The body of the phone itself is very premium, and the flat display is a fact that even people with last year's S23 Ultra will trade the phone for. What failed on the contrary are the cameras, I compare with the Honor Magic 5 Pro and Vivo x100 Pro. It's great that the phone has 4 cameras, but once there is no nice light the photos get a lot of noise. The cameras try to lighten the photos as much as possible in the automatic mode, which results in a photo suitable for a small phone display. Especially this year's X100 Pro from Viva beats it in the evening and night. Where Samsung dominates is in video quality but again only in daylight. In DXOmark's camera rating, the phone even ranked behind the 2022 Iphones 14. I will also point out that the phone's width is really felt compared to other flagships, but this has been the case with all Samsung Ultra's since the beginning.

I've liked samsung's rubber grip case a lot before, but this year they've taken it a bit further, at least for me ( type EF-GS928CUEGWW, multiple colors). Even such stupidity can be decisive - pulling the grip inside the case, lowering its profile, and at the same time connecting it with a stand that is primitive and holds. Anyway - even as someone who has used the S23 Ultra from the beginning, as an initial skeptic of the new model. I was intrigued by the S24 Ultra, by the change in shape to a flat display and a more pronounced bezel on the side, by the features, and by the accessories, enough to go for it. I think I won't regret it, it's a good phone, a decent successor, holds up well and works as expected. I honestly don't care about performance - I play on my mobile only rarely, and I think that for most of the functions that mobile phones have, even plus or minus half the power would be enough. But it's very brisk. at least for now.
