I had an S22 and it was horrible in terms of battery and a gluttonous hot processor. I once managed to beat 50% of the battery while filming my daughter's 30 minute performance. It was the only Samsung for me that I wanted to get rid of right away. I switched to the S23 with Snapdragon and, world wonder, the battery lasts and hardly heats up at all. I am now switching to the S25 and wanted a Samsung with a Snapragon processor again. I was worried about overheating from the Benchmark reviews, but the phone doesn't heat up and is super fast. I also appreciate that they have reduced the size and weight slightly compared to previous versions. Usually the trend was the opposite. My old S10e is a smaller and lighter phone. On the S10e, which is with a Samsung processor, 7 years old, the processor problem is beautifully visible. In terms of speed of launching and working with apps, it is matched even by the much older Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact with Snapdargon. For the S25 with the most powerful Snapdragon, I believe the phone will be usable beyond the 7 years for which it has support.

I switched to the S25 from the S21 and the difference in speed is so significant. Plus, the display and camera are a hair better. The AI implementations are more of a gimmick, but a few are pleasing. The battery is basically the same in terms of capacity and charging speed, so there is definitely room for improvement here, as well as in memory capacity. Overall though, it's a great phone and a good buy for me, especially if one is switching from a few years old piece.

I'm switching from the Galaxy A52 5G, so the jump is really significant. It runs beautifully, the Snapdragon 8 Elite is a powerful processor. The phone is beautifully small and handles much better than the 6.5" pancake, and I was pretty scared of the transition. 25W charging is already a bit of an embarrassment in 2025.
