The cold setting works fine, but right from the first heat setting, the air is extremely hot, and there's practically no difference between the subsequent settings. Even on the lowest heat setting, it burns my skin so much that it's almost unbearable, and my hair ends up over-dried and unhappy. I thought it was a manufacturing defect, so I had the hairdryer exchanged for another one, but the problem was the same. So it's not a bug, it's a feature, unfortunately. Completely unusable for my fine hair. I returned the second one as well and I'm cancelling the contract. I'm only giving it two stars for the really nice design and the long power cord.
