Within 15 minutes I had it up and running - downloading the app to my mobile and then everything via mobile. All I had to do was register with the TP line and select my wifi network and connect to it. That's all. And I don't use One mesh because my old router (also TP link) can't do that. I purposely bought an extender of the same brand to increase the chances that the wiring will be problem-free. It passes through a 40cm thick wall (full bricks in an old house) and only one or, if any, no line on the status bar of the wifi on the mobile. It will tell you if it is in a location with sufficient original wifi signal). It automatically creates two more wifi - 2.4 and 5 GHz (I don't have OneMesh). I use 2.4GHz because there is no problem in flooding the place with a large number of wifi and my provider gives me a speed of only 25Mb/s anyway. I also measured this speed on my mobile phone via wifi extender. Signal loss at 5GHz is slightly higher, but only slightly. When I compare it to a D-Link extender I bought 6 years ago (wifi that dropped internet connection several times a day, even for an hour, with a weak signal), this is finally what I wanted.
