I’m switching from the Xiaomi 13T Pro, and the main reasons for me are the battery and the camera. My 13T Pro no longer lasts reliably from morning to evening these days, so the 7000mAh battery in the 17T Pro is a massive upgrade for me. But I’m even more excited about the camera, especially the better zoom and the wider range of photography options overall, particularly for shooting in the dark – the 17T Pro has a newer 50MP Light Fusion 950 sensor and a brighter f/1.67 lens, whilst the 13T Pro has a 50MP main camera with an f/1.9 lens. On top of that, the phone features wireless and reverse charging, a brighter display, new, slightly more powerful hardware, and overall feels almost like a flagship model. What’s more, thanks to the bonuses, the discount, the trade-in bonus and the free scooter, the final price can end up being really low, so this upgrade really makes sense to me.
With a 5× optical zoom in the mountains, I’ll finally be able to see things up close that are too far away for my glasses – like ground squirrels or other cute little animals – instead of just squinting into the distance and wondering whether it’s an animal or a rock with ambitions
