Modern modelling materials come in many different types nowadays. The enormous selection can be confusing, so if you want to make heads and tails of them, read on.
Modelling clay
The ever popular choice that can keep your kids entertained for hours. Modern modelling clay does not leave colour residue on the hands, stain, and doesn’t dry. Playing with modelling clay develops children's imagination and creativity and improves their fine motor skills.
Fimo and polymer materials
Exceedingly popular among the more advanced modellers, though you can also find Fimo Kids materials designed specifically for children. After baking in the oven, these materials harden and become very durable. They may be optionally processed further (sanding, painting, polishing, varnishing). Polymeric materials enable a variety of techniques that one can use to create real works of art and beautiful jewellery. We also offer a wide range of tools designed for work with polymeric materials.
Materials hardening on air
Easy to shape and don’t require an oven or other equipment to harden. Simply leave the modelled object to dry (usually for about 24 hours) and your child can obtain a nice and sturdy figure or toy.
