I bought these headphones as a long-term user of cheaper headphones (around £30–£40). I was surprised by the sound quality – for someone who likes listening to podcasts, their favourite songs, or films/videos, the sound quality is really good. But what really blew me away is the ANC – the noise cancellation works very well, considering these aren't in-ear headphones. The headphones connect to my phone instantly, and the ANC kicks in straight away. Otherwise, I use them with an Android phone and a Windows laptop without any issues, but logically, deeper settings are missing (this could perhaps be solved with a third-party app, but I don't feel the need for it).
ANC and how it works
sitting in the ears
intuitive operation
they are harder to get out of the box
the material of both the case and the headphones easily attracts dirt

The best ANC I've ever experienced
Price
The sound seems comparable to over-ear headphones that cost at least twice as much.
After a few hours, they start to hurt and press into my ears
I can't help it, but the 1st generation fitted in my ear better.
It's not necessarily a negative, but for some features, the headphones require the latest version of iOS.
