Purchased for listening in a small office where the speakers in the display and laptop were not the right fit anyway. For this purpose they sound fine, when placed near the wall they have some hint of bass but no one can expect concert sound. The unusual design impresses but they also thought of practical things such as a rubberized base when they do not drift around the table like a puck or a reasonable level of brightness of the indicator light that even in the dark does not unnecessarily dazzle. The length of the cables is just right if the speakers are next to the monitor when the laptop is docked nearby but if you have the case tucked somewhere deep under the desk, it could be a problem. As far as sound is concerned, there will be better options on the market, there is a bit of a price to pay for the design, but it's nothing major.

Given their size and price, the speakers are probably the best buy in terms of size / price / sound ratio. The dual-band drivers make the most of the size, and when placed against a wall (or in a rack) the bass is even more audible due to the placement of the low frequency drivers on the back. Some people may not be comfortable with USB power, but for me it's OK. Don't expect a dense bass comparable to, for example, Bose wireless speakers, but the bass is very audible, unlike most similarly sized and similarly expensive PC speakers I've had the opportunity to compare (e.g. Logitech Speakers Z150 for 719 Kč)
