This power bank has excellent specifications and dimensions, but its internal electronics let it down. It limits the power output far too aggressively and too quickly – both when charging the phone and when charging the power bank itself. It’s certainly useful as a compact backup for when you’re on the move, but for this price, it simply involves too many compromises.
They’ve managed to pack a 10Ah capacity into a really small body.
Considering its capacity, the power bank isn’t heavy at all, and you hardly notice it in your rucksack or pocket.
It does get warm during wireless charging via Qi2, but this is within normal limits – it’s nothing extreme (though it remains to be seen how it will fare at outdoor temperatures of 30°C)
The impressive strength of the magnets (Tested on an iPhone 16 Pro Max)
Rubberised body (edges, area in contact with the phone)
Even after charging the iPhone 16 Pro Max from 5% to 79%, it still showed ‘two bars’ of remaining battery
When connected via a cable (tested with a MacBook Pro), the power bank immediately starts delivering a full output of almost 30 W. Within 6 minutes, however, the power output drops to just 19 W. Unfortunately, this problem also appears in other user reviews (the 5Ah version).
A similar scenario occurs when you charge a power bank from empty. Initially, it draws 30 W (12 V at approx. 2.6 A – PD 3.0 protocol at FIX 12 V–3.00 A), but after a short while this drops to 9.4 W (5 V at 1.9 A). The internal electronics are holding it back.
Given the behaviour observed with a cable, it is quite likely that similar power limitations also occur with wireless charging; however, this is difficult to measure using standard methods. Given the way it behaves when connected by cable, I’m worried this might turn out to be a similar case to the “Pitaka Power Bank Qi2”, where the charging power drops to 5W very quickly, after which the wireless power bank is nothing more than a rather heavy paperweight. Yes, Pitaka is not Qi2.2.
I think the price tag of around 2,100 Kč is a bit steep. If you don’t have a daily use for it, it’s worth waiting for a substantial discount or for the next generation, when the electronics will be better refined. But that’s the price you pay for the combination of Qi 2.2, high capacity and low weight.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max charges from 5% to 79% in 1 hour and 56 minutes
There is no display that clearly shows the remaining capacity as a percentage, or the wireless charging power
