I see a little weak point in the handle material. The older type had a softened plastic on the handle, something like rubber, which provided very good fixation during movement. But it was also gradually coming off and deteriorating with use. The new iron has a handle made entirely of hard plastic. I suppose it's just a matter of habit. I welcome the fact that for the same volume of water, this iron is a little lighter. Savings are sometimes made in the wrong place. on the cable is missing a small plastic grip, which serves to fix the cable during storage and was on the original one.
