The cable winding is fine, but when I burned the temperature sensor and split the bottom of the kettle, I only saw how the winding is designed inside: just by a simple crude twisting of the attached cables, also a matter of time before they fall. For these reasons - winding cancelled. The burnt sensor cancelled, but no - the fuse spring in the socket kept heating up, losing its elasticity, and thus further deteriorating the contact and increasing the heating of the socket. So bottom line: Throw away the winding, throw away the sensors, throw away the socket - connect directly to the battery.
