There are only two options to add rear speakers to Theatre 8 - SA-RS5S and SARS3S. I chose the second option. The speakers were playing quite quietly (a common problem on the forums), but one in particular was still buzzing weakly even when turned off. I bought them "unpacked" (which they weren't due to the lack of filling in the box, and they shouldn't be sent to anyone like that at all - they could have been destroyed quite easily in transit, which fortunately didn't happen), so I suspect that the original buyer returned them for that reason. What scares me a bit is that although I described the problem when I returned them, an hour after accepting the return they reappeared for sale as unwrapped. But what I like about Alza is the hassle-free and lightning-fast refund without any problems.
