I bought an unboxed piece and compared it to the Edifier WH950 and Bose QuietComfort. Marginally also with Sennheiser SPORT True Wireless - but these are earbuds without ANC, only sound. And for nostalgia's sake, with wired Sennheiser HD205. As for the sound, it is indeed very bassy, so it covers a large part of the mids and highs. Even after adjusting the equalizer, where I suppressed the bass and brought out the mids and highs, their audibility improved, but it still sounded like all the strings, breaths, strings were in a corner of the hall behind a screen. In terms of construction, they were also the most expensive. Compared to the Bose, they made my ears sweat more, but personally they sweat normally: ) The ANC was comparable to both Bose and Edifier. Only in a relatively quiet environment with no music, they were probably the most lightly humming. They can work well for airplane movies. Finally, after a week of testing, I returned the unpacked piece again. If the Sennheiser Momentum headphones had better ANC I'd go for them, but alas. This is how the Bose headphones won because of the balance of sound performance, ANC and comfort. The Sony WH1000s also sound a lot better, but again, the price.

The headphones play beautifully. I compare with my Sennheiser HD25 and 4.40BT, in both cases the Sony sound "slightly better" (I'm not enough of an audiophile to describe it in detail). Someone in the reviews praised the battery life, it rather disappointed me, for example in comparison with 4.40BT. It's not a disaster, but you need to charge them about every two days. Design is a subjective matter, they look a bit too tankish for me.
