Quick installation with the app and easy operation and setup
no protection features, everything hidden behind TP Link Shield which forces you to pay a flat rate
the main unit when connecting about 80 small smart devices completely loses throughput, the network lags and is generally unstable, while you state "certified for150+ devices" - nonsense! (reason for return)
nowhere in the specs does it mention TP-Link Protect Shield - it even lists only "Home Care" which is free on older units and even on TP Link's website the X20 is not listed as a "Shield protected device".
Unfortunately, this new policy of TP-Link - forces you to pay a monthly/annual flat fee for features that are elsewhere (and were here before) completely free. e.g. even for simply limiting the number of hours per day at parental control, traffic overview, connection statistics, even the router speed test has disappeared, everything that was free with older models is now (and God knows if at all) for a flat fee. (second reason for return)
