Lustre surface of the photo paper is a compromise between glossy and matt surface. It has a fine, lightly textured texture that is reminiscent of pearls or satin. Thanks to this texture, the paper does not reflect light as intensely as glossy paper, reducing unwanted glare and reflections. At the same time, it retains a high colour saturation and deep blacks, similar to glossy paper, which may not be as pronounced with fully matt papers. Its surface is also more resistant to fingerprints and minor scratches. Photographs on this paper thus combine vibrancy of colour with less susceptibility to glare, making it a versatile choice for portraits, wedding photography or prints intended for more frequent viewing and handling.
