It's an excellent gaming monitor, but its rating is dragged down by outdated firmware that doesn't automatically update. That's why people see dropping bands of pixels and another common problem is that the monitor loses signal, or connectivity to the graphics, or the computer, once it went into sleep mode, and it was necessary to turn it off and after 15 seconds turn it on as if it was stupid. The solution to both of these problems is to download the latest firmware from Samsung's website to the USB flash drive (which is not marked with any update date or otherwise) according to the manufacturer's instructions, plug the flash drive directly into the monitor and update via the menu. After that, the monitor works as it should and almost has no fault.
