Once the volume exceeds half or more, as long as no one is shouting next to me, the ANC does a great job. I can eat in peace or relax to the horrorcore rap of the butcher and others. ps. choose the right earpieces to ensure a good seal. ANC will not work if the ear is not sealed. logically..: ) - The control panels on the headphones just aren't the best. So if someone gets used to the intuitiveness, grace, precision and convenience of e.g. AirPods (which can't compare to this) so he'll be disappointed. But if you just put the headphones in your ears and tap play on your phone and start listening like I do, you defacto don't need the platforms.
