The batteries were dead and cold after purchase. They were probably stored in cold storage and discharged for a long time. I will be advertising/returning them until I come across batteries of this type at least 30-50% charged. When I asked if anyone at Alza could recommend rechargeable batteries of this type (AAA) for which it is certain that they are at least partially pre-charged, no one knows and no one can guarantee anything. I will never buy anything from Alza again, this is the last straw. I'm constantly having to complain about things and it's getting worse! The quality of Alza products has gone down significantly since about the time of Covid and is still declining. If you read this someone from Alza look in the product history, practically you will not find a product from Alza products that I would not advertise. Mostly because it doesn't work at all. AlzaPower charger, only the third piece worked. Alza MagCore cables, I waited 2 years before you stocked cables with magnetic connectors and you stocked only USB-A connectors (USB- to USB-C) and USB-C cables are still out of stock (about 2 years and three months - I mean USB-C to USB-C cables). I have equipped my whole "household" with magnetic connectors and they are just useless! Price about 9 thousand crowns just for the fucking cables! They have to be bought because the "silver plated" part of the pins peels off and it starts to crumble into the connector. so they must be cleaned frequently to avoid short circuits, but they are still good.
