The smaller case may be super eco friendly, it uses less plastic, but the individual headphones are hard to pull out and there is a much higher risk of dropping the headphones. After switching from AirPods 3 to the new fourth generation, I'm pleasantly surprised. The main reason I've stuck with the **peeps** is their comfort - earbuds have never fit me well, and the AirPods 4 are great in that regard. Clean highs, good bass, overall balanced sound, which I appreciate when listening to podcasts and music. The battery life didn't disappoint me either. Even with ANC, it lasts about 6 hours and with the charging case, it's no problem to reach up to 30 hours, which for me is ideal for travel. The switch from AirPods 3 has paid off. The pecks continue to suit me and the noise cancellation is a big step forward.
