I can wear the headphones for 8 hours at a time and I don't get a headache (which was the reason why I bought these headphones in the first place)
The sound quality is satisfactory. Not perfect for me. Sony have headphones with better sound for a similar price, but Sony don't have as precisely crafted surround stereo.
Noise cancellation is perfect, concentration at the computer/tablet increases by tens of percent.
Transparent mode is amazing. Great, for example, when I want to listen to music while staying awake while walking around town and crossing the road frequently.
With headphones of this type, I miss either wireless charging or a charging case. The packaging that currently comes with them, Apple for me has solved at least inelegantly, as it is mainly to prevent unwanted scratches and scrapes. Immediately after removing the headphones from the packaging, the metal exteriors of the headphones rub, feel and scratch against each other. The ideal user, who naturally does not exist, would then have to put the headphones back in the case after each use and would have to watch out for the friction of the headphones each time they are taken out. The non-ideal user is basically doomed to not accept a claim from Alza in the event of a technical problem due to possible abrasions.

At the beginning of the year, I bought a Sony WH1000-XM4 for praise. The headphones are fine, but I expected them to interest me after I read / heard only positives about them. You can buy a new XM5 series, which I bought again after all those reviews. Although there is a difference, there is no croissant on my face. I returned them and bought an Airpody. Finally a good choice for me. Except it' s a nice piece of HW that made me happy. They are even better in terms of sound and I enjoy listening to them. The construction is heavier than at Sony, but in my case at Sony I was pushed by a bridge and at Airpod I don' t have this problem (over 3 hours at a time). I think a lot of people have a problem choosing between these models, so I would like to help a little in thinking, even though this is my opinion and I do not force it on anyone: D

I dare say that in terms of sound quality, these headphones are one of the best in their price category and in the category of headphones compatible with Apple. Unfortunately, the price is relatively high and (for me) does not fully outweigh the pros of the headphones. I had the opportunity to try the Beats Studio3 Wireless, Beats Solo3, Beats Solo Pro and BOSE QC 45 headphones. None of them (from my point of view) reached the same quality as the AirPods Max. In the end, I ended up with AirPods Pro 2021, where they have the best price / quality ratio for me. But one must not mind the seeds. If I had to choose from Apple compatible headphones in the headset category, I would choose the Beats Solo Pro Wireless, which had the best sound of all listed (after AirPods Max and AirPods Pro).
