The radiator is ridiculously long - officially 76 mm vs. The length of the SSD from edge to edge is 80 mm. So a slight shift to one side bothers the screw and a slight shift to the other side bothers the socket. If the Chinese had made it 5mm shorter, nothing would have happened - the SSD doesn't heat completely from edge to edge anyway.
Too long
Even though the manufacturer claims it's this even on double-sided drives (typically 4 TB), I don't think you stand a chance.
And the color red. I don't know.

I have a nice pile of these coolers and so far they have not let me down. The hottest drive I've put them on is the WD SN850 and it keeps it cool perfectly.
Cools great
Low profile on the other side of the disc
Enough thermal pads in the package
For the price, nice and high quality design (no sharp edges, paint does not peel off, etc.)

I used it with a Samsung 990 PRO drive, which itself has higher temperatures, and on the motherboard the drive is located next to the graphics card, despite the higher ambient temperature, the drive stays at acceptable values. Temperatures during office work ranged around 35-37 °C, and when gaming or video editing, temperatures reached a maximum of 48 °C. I tested in the summer months and immediately after installation, it will be seen after a year of use how the efficiency of the cooler changes.
Keeps the drive at a good operating temperature.
Easy assembly (the package includes a screwdriver and screws for attachment).
The heat-conducting tapes between the cooler and the disk are more difficult to fasten, because they have a protective tape on them from the factory, which is difficult to remove.

Yes a robust cooler, for someone who doesn't have a quality motherboard
It's not a device that would significantly change the cooling of the M.2 SSD on my motherboard. The temperature at full load is almost 60 degrees and I had that even with the classic cooling that was included on the M.2 slot board. I thought I'd bring the temperature down at least 10 degrees, but I didn't.

The coolers are on SSDs in the QNAP NAS, where they fit just fine. I put them on the manufacturer's recommendation rather than necessarily needing them. Protective films must be removed from the hot melt pads before adhesion.

With the WD Black SN850X, the cooler cannot be screwed on one extreme side due to the low pre-drilled holes on the side of the cooler, as the height of the disc will not allow this (2 heat conductive pads used). However, 4 screws out of 6 are enough to keep the disc in the cooler in place as it should. A minor problem was with the Q-latch on the B660M-PLUS D4 board, where this mechanism could not be closed because it was bumping into the heatsink somewhere underneath and unfortunately it was impossible to see exactly how much it was bothering what. Fortunately, though, I noticed that there is a threaded cavity in the middle of the Q-latch that just happens to match the width of the supplied bolts from this radiator. By adding a suitably cut rubber washer (supplied with the Case) and screwing in one screw, this problem was solved, but it's probably not a solution for everyone. The bolt is a little shorter than it needs to be, so the washer needs to be made really precise to catch the bolt on the beginning of the thread in the Q-latch.
The disk with the cooler fit perfectly under the MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Ventus 2X Black 8G OC graphics. Another plus of this cooler is about 3 C lower temperatures at rest compared to the original cooler from Asus supplied with the board, which I have mounted in a slot closer to the processor (in a more open place) and on the same disk from WD, but with the difference of smaller capacity. Temperature 45 vs 48 C. Under load, when moving larger amounts of data, the temperature rose to about 57 vs 62 C, which I think is still very good considering the lightning speed of this drive. But it all depends on the size of the case, the temperature in the room, the speed of the fans, which I do not have at full power and other things. And everybody's different. Those who wrote here that their temperature increased after installing the cooler compared to before, I don't think that's possible. It may be that someone inadvertently doesn't realise this, or simply doesn't know to remove all the plastic layers from the heat transfer pads. The instructions are brief and often generally inadequate. But of course the temperature goes up after such an installation, because the heat accumulates under the plastic and does not naturally penetrate through the pad, which has to fit tightly to the disc to perform its function and reliably dissipate the heat.
A solid piece of cooler at an affordable price to performance ratio
cannot be secured by Asus Q-latch as standard, it is necessary to look for an alternative way of securing
the holes for the retaining screws, even though they are oval, are set unnecessarily low, so that some discs may have problems with attaching the cooler to all the screws due to the difference in disc height

Cool
Strange assembly, they could have come up with something better in the time the M2 has been around

The product arrived with everything needed - heatsink with holder, 3 heat shields (2 were enough for me), screws (1 was extra), even a screwdriver. I used a pair of pliers to clamp the SSD with two heat conductive pads so I could screw it together (be careful not to destroy the SSD with the pliers). Before that, I peeled off the plastic manufacturing label from the bottom of the SSD, leaving the AL-plate with a black graphene surface on the top. When running the Kingston 2TB SSD for data only (the system has another SSD), the temperature does not exceed 50°C, so I do not expect a speed reduction due to the increased temperature.
