This only happens when writing continuously otherwise it is about 45°C in normal use. The situation will probably be different in the summer. For use in my computer, I would have to grind the aluminum plate by 2mm, so it would be a pig, but the temperature of the ssd disk would be reduced by the claimed 15 degrees.
