My worst experience with MMC. I had to reclaim my Nokia 8010, which I was happy with until recently. Unfortunately there is not much choice on Alza in MMC. So I finally reached for the Blaupunkt (I have only good experiences with car radios). The first commissioning alone was terrible. MMC claimed that ethernet and wifi cannot access the internet. Thus, I didn't get through the introductory menu (10 other products at home with no problems connected to the internet). In the end, I had to create a hotspot on my mobile and the MMC eventually connected to that. So I could at least set it up. The funny thing is that I subsequently reconnected to the LAN, wifi and the internet worked. So where was the mistake?! When you first start up "no internet" and suddenly it works? I like Android Tv - simple to use. A bunch of stuff can be uninstalled, thankfully, turned off. I commend you. Kodi setup with no problems. And that was the end of the good news for me. I never dreamed that MMC does not support o2 (at Nokia 100% functional and downloadable on Google Play). I found the APK to install, somewhat problematically via USB got it and installed it into the MMC. The o2 app took 30s to load. Once it's up, it looks like a mobile app. So a touch screen would be needed. Useless with the original DO. I used a USB3.0 flash drive for the installation. I normally use a 50cm USB3.0 extension cable, which worked for Nokia. Here it caused the MMC to freeze and I had to reboot. So I have to have the box somewhere accessible to insert flash drives. When testing the speed and quality of the connection, I found that the LAN goes to a max of 100Mbit. Unfortunately, this information is nowhere to be found. Neither at other vendors, nor at the manufacturer (how is it possible that the max LAN speed is not listed anywhere? ). So for me the 100Mbit limit is unusable (I stream 80Gbit rips). I tried wifi 6 on 5GHz - I got WRT a meter from MMC. Max speed is low 300Mbit - even on mobile and laptop I'm on 5GHz around 500Mbit. In the entire room where the WRT is located. Touch keyboard in USB2.0 from Ali mi MMC undetected. Even the old Vontar X3 had no problem. I have to solve everything through the supplied DO and it is really insufficient (Nokia had a great DO). Conclusion: I don't recommend it. I'm coming back tomorrow.
