Bought as a replacement for a vocolinc that I claimed and the store refunded my money. I think it was more of a step backwards. It disconnected from Wi-Fi very often and one day it disconnected completely and could not connect anymore. Interestingly, I connected it to a separate router that has a different IP range and it works there for now but then it doesn't work with HomeKit again (because it's connected to a different network), so I lost the ability to save to iCloud. The Eufy app has better video quality but the rest is worse. Until FW fixes disconnecting/disconnecting from Wi-Fi I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Overall a good camera for the money. The features as such are good, but for me it could have been pushed a bit further. As for my cons, I'm not sure if they are adequate like this or if I just don't know how to set it up properly, but I've searched the forums as well and haven't found an answer. The lack of privacy mode is a big drawback for me and I thought the camera would be able to do that. My idea was that the camera would know I was at home by the smart phone and I could choose not to record and hide the camera lens in a blind spot. It can be bypassed by a smart plug and disconnecting from the "juice", but the camera does not turn to the blind spot and thus for a paranoid wife it is not a sufficient solution.: -D: -D

To connect to Apple homekit, you must first update the camera via the eufy app. After connecting it to the homekit, it is possible to control the camera via the eufy application, but it is also possible to disable the use in this application and it will be controlled by the pure settings in the homekit. Quickly establishes connection The image quality is a bit better in the eufy application, rather than the resolution it is given by the bitrate, when it is limited via homekit. Maybe Apple will do something about it eventually.
