I chose them mainly because of their height, as I used them under the bed to store things. I also didn't have to go anywhere in the store and they were delivered to the alzabox, although the boxes were occupied pretty pointlessly, but I guess that's up to the driver. They are made of thinner plastic and the lid snaps on rather impractically. For me, they have definitely served their purpose and I am happy with them. I definitely wouldn't recommend them for heavier stuff and stacking, the plastic wouldn't hold up. With frequent opening, it certainly doesn't hold up well to closing, which is not practical and the workmanship is really poor. Overall, they accomplished for me what I needed and I would purchase them again for the same purpose.

snapping lids is really terrible - I haven't come across one yet, it's impractical, however I've used them under the bed, so I don't mind it, but if someone wants to open and close them often, I don't think the plastic will last long
the boxes are made of thin plastic - they're not solid, I don't mind them under the bed, but if they were to be stacked somewhere and full of heavier stuff, I don't think they would hold up
