In just a few days, we'll have ① regular sound failure ② lock or loss of connection to the controller ③ neither night mode works - runs nonstop on max power ④ schizophrenic auto/manual sound - receiver doesn't display format correctly ⑤ DTS-X/HD/MA passthrough is not working ⑥ TrueHD with dropouts and/or delays ⑦ 3x TV flicker completely inconvenient ⑧ AutoHDR sometimes doesn't work, AFR/AR we preferred not to try ⑨ the obsolete Dune app can't do anything, and we don't see SMB/SFTP anywhere. Firmware up to 1 year old. What is good is HDR in YT but that is so for 1 use. The controller has no backlight but has an excellent layout. Simply Shield still leads, if it had autoreboot or 4GB RAM, it has no problem. But there's also a "cable slipping out" and an annoying bug everywhere. People dream of Android 12 changing that, but that may come in 100 years. 3.5/5
