Compared to the previous model (x4) it has a larger sensor and in low light conditions this new x5 can take much better videos which was a big minus with the previous model

I didn't find any negatives, maybe just that there are no lens protectors in the package like the previous model, but the new x5 allows you to replace the whole lens which is great
