I like the automatic phone mount. When inserted, the side paws snap together by themselves, which is practical.
Pretty good range of settings
For this money I would expect a more sophisticated product. Technically, it is no different from cheaper mounts.
The adhesive pad, to which the holder is attached, almost accidentally peeled off half of the decking. It has to be said that the decking is a bit curved, so it is logical that the glue will not adhere perfectly everywhere. I was aware of this, so I cleaned the surface thoroughly to make the glue work. Yet the holder now only half holds. I recommend finding the flattest possible surface on the deck. Which can be a problem for some cars. Because the arm then has quite a bit of leverage with the phone and therefore tends to come off.
In general, I have a personal problem with such mounts, that they are such a hulking piece of plastic that doesn't always look good on the dash. And here in this case it is no different.
Even though I've only had the holder for two weeks, I know I won't stay with it and I'll be looking for another solution.
