Photos with both 1x and 2x look good, in defaults exactly the same as iphone 17 and 17 pro, you can't tell the difference. Of course, Pro can also do ProRaw, and that's elsewhere. Battery, here it seems to me that apple is magic and thanks to its own chip so the iPhone Air is a one-day phone in normal use. So listening to music, some scrolling, turning on the navigation in the car, etc. However, today phones normally have a battery life of two days or more, so I would rate the battery somewhere in between, neither a negative nor a positive. The overall impression is great, if you don't mind this being such a transitional phone before the jigsaw and those aforementioned things, so lets go.

If I sat in a chair all day and just had my phone on my desk, I'd probably stick with the heavier, thicker, but more feature-rich iPhone Pro. That's just not how it works for me. I'm very active most of the year and the iPhone Air literally fit me like a glove. Instead of a constantly pressing brick in my pocket, especially annoying in the summer, I hardly know about the phone. It is so light and thin that I only become aware of its presence when I really need it. In doing so, it offers great equipment and there are only three areas of real criticism: the missing ultra-wide and telephoto lens, mono speaker and battery. I personally only use the ultra-wide and tele lenses a few times a year, so I don't miss them. A mono speaker is perfectly fine with me. I can't tell the difference when listening to podcasts in the bathroom, and I don't watch movies on my phone anyway. And the batteries? It is about 30% better than my previous phone. The only thing I would really fault is the size of the display. The standard 6.3" or 6.4" would fit me better. The 6.5" on the Air may be beautiful, but one-handed operation is no longer entirely comfortable. The iPhone Air is the best phone for my needs right now, and I can't imagine going back to the classic heavy brick.
