I buried the product with the optional rear camera and performed several image quality tests. The readability of the license plate for a 4K image is a maximum of 25 meters during the day and up to ten meters at night. Whether a rear camera is connected at the same time, which reduces the resolution of the front camera to 2K, does not play a big role. She herself has a full HD resolution and the recognition ability is relatively small about 5m. Unfortunately, I do not have a personal comparison with another device. A plus is the 128GB SD card, which can hold about 8 hours of recording from both cameras. The control and initial setup of the camera is relatively easy. It has a wide range of settings and features that are good to walk through and try out for maximum convenience. I especially appreciate the sleep of the display. GPS function (can also be useful when measuring the police) is relatively accurate and reliable, sometimes it takes longer, but it depends on the environment. Furthermore, the microphone is fine for me, it picks up conversations well, but mainly turn signals. The accelerometer (parking mode) is difficult to say if it will ever actually be used, at maximum sensitivity the camera will only start when the door slams, such sensitivity (can be set) is not necessary. As a result, it only creates an indelible (necessary to format) short sequence of shots, where, however, it is a mistake only from the front camera. Radar detection is just a gadget that occasionally reports about 300m of radar in front of you, or traffic lights with a camera. I wouldn' t believe it too much, Waze is much better, but sometimes it saves a person. I see this feature as a tiny icing on the cake and I wouldn' t take it too seriously. I tried the wifi and the application, they work fine as they should, but it is much easier and faster to take out the SD card and put it in the computer. What was a stumbling block for me was the installation and routing of the cabling. Due to zero experience, it was quite difficult for me to run the cabling under the plastics in the trunk and push under the strap through the whole car. To do this, the rear camera plugs into the front camera instead of the holder, which makes handling quite difficult. I also redesigned the power supply to the fuses, because the socket is still live, fortunately there are plenty of instructions for this. Now, after a few months, I don' t have to worry about the camera, and I almost don' t know it' s there. Sometimes I check the recordings and all. Satisfaction for me, I am glad that I missed all the problems that I read here before the purchase. Have a nice day.

I decided between the Lamax C9 and Lamax T10 cameras. In the end, this camera won because it records in 4K. I can' t say I did wrong with the purchase. In practical comparison, the camera probably has a slightly better image. It records in MP4 format, but supports the H.264 codec, so for playback in Movies & TV from Windows you need to buy an extension for 30 CZK from Microsoft from Microsoft Store, which can play this codec (VLC or other programs can probably play it normally, I haven' t tried). Otherwise, the video looks decent and usable, enough for a normal mortal. The big disadvantage for me is the power cable, which already has a plug in the ignition. I wanted to power the camera from the ignition and at the same time use the transmitter to play songs from my mobile phone to the car radio via Bluetooth. I thought I would solve it by buying a standard microUSB cable that can be connected to a transmitter with USB-A. However, the camera with another cable is not a friend and after 10 seconds it turns off, as it “does not have power“. This is probably due to the voltage regulator that is installed on the original cable and not on ordinary cables. Unfortunately, this problem cannot be solved other than by purchasing a fuse splitter or a cigarette lighter splitter - it is necessary to use the original cable. Just for info, this controller does not have this controller for Lamax C9 camera - any microUSB cable can be used there. Another disadvantage is the sound - you can hear what someone is saying, but you can hear more driving a car on the road. Sound is definitely not something that is perfect - I believe a lot of cameras have sound better. Personally, I can recommend the camera, I would just first decide how to connect it, so that you do not have unnecessary problems with it.
