My first Apple device. I bought on recommendation, after twenty-five years I switched from Windows. If it works this way for a couple of years, I'll be happy, my older HP laptop has been "booting" for a few minutes, this works right away. We have PS with Win at work, so I'll be using both systems and I think it's not a bad idea to expand your skills on multiple systems at the same time.
I can't think of anything, and although I used to be rather skeptical about Apple products, I changed my mind pretty quickly 😀.

The computer is excellent, exactly what I expected. The only disappointment is that you need to connect a keyboard for installation - and a wired one at that (I couldn't figure out how to connect a wireless one). So not only do you need to get a keyboard (which hopefully you can still find an older one at home) - but you also need to have a USB-C reducer ready for it (the counter already has USB-C ports). It is probably generally necessary to keep in mind that most accessories still have traditional USB and therefore I recommend to buy at least two USB-C reducers. I'm sure they'll be needed for a while.
