Overall, I am more and more excited every time I use it, really great.
Image quality (very nice and sharp indeed)
The controls are touch (all buttons! )

It's a little heavier (515g) than the Quest 2 (503g), but by having the weight closer to the face, it feels lighter. The slight increase in weight is primarily due to the battery which has 19.44 Wh compared to the Quest 2's 14 Wh
Built-in pancake lenses instead of fresnel lenses, so the image looks sharp even if the headset moves on your head or you don't set the IPD correctly, which on the fresnels caused the image to blur.
Where Quest 3 is top for me is PCVR where it currently has competition only in headsets that cost more than twice as much as Quest 3.
A noticeable upgrade from Quest 2
As far as mixed reality is concerned I find Q3 as a kind of one-eyed king among the blind, clearly MR can do better than any other VR headset on the market, but so far there is not much use for MR, and even though with Q3 MR is finally usable, in America there are already people who go out with Q3 on their head, but it still has a lot of problems (whether it's that if you walk down the street, the app windows can't follow you, but they stay in one place; MR and hand tracking are brutal battery drainers; blackening of the screen in case of loss of tracking, etc. ) although a lot of them are solvable in software and hopefully they will move somewhere in future headset updates.
The basic cloth headstrap is a waste that is uncomfortable for extended use beyond 30-60 minutes, and aftermarket headstraps are not yet available
Headphone jack on the right side, so most headsets designed for VR are incompatible with cable length
The problem with getting the Quest 3 now soon after release is that there are almost no newly released game titles for it yet, but when comparing the PSVR2 for example, which pulls virtually only two exclusive titles (Horizon and Gran Turismo) I don't see that as such a major minus (especially considering the PSVR2 still has fresnels)
Several reviewers have had problems with dead pixels, and some have replaced several copies of Quest 3 before getting a version where all pixels worked, so I think it's worth considering the possibility of a complaint when getting Quest 3.
