Really unique design, great sound, awesome app, but if efficient anc is important to you, I don't recommend it. Even the much cheaper lamax dots3 have noticeably better anc. I have also had a problem with uncomfortable pain when wearing them, although I have never had a problem with other headphones.

Great sounding headphones for a price under 2000. There are plenty of reviews here, so for interest compare with Apple Airpods Pro 2. I bought the Airpods on black friday sale, but the sound was quite disappointing for the money, I was expecting a sound that would at least match the wired in-ears under two thousand. Except not at all. I came across the Nothing Eary in action, they have a similar design and fit just as snugly in the ear. In the end, I'm returning the Airpods, they're more refined headphones with better ANC, but sonically I find the Nothing Eary a level better - especially in terms of detail and instrument separation. And it costs a third of that. They play great classical, rock, electro, techno. The sound can still be adjusted with the equalizer (it is limited compared to the higher version of the headphones, but still good). The app works on both iOS, Android and there is a web app available (probably neofiko) The only negatives: ANC is pretty good, but the voice could be suppressed more. Transparency mode is still halfway functional, it's annoying to use on the phone, especially if you have a deeper voice. The headphones make an annoying loud tone when you put them in your ears, hopefully the update will change that. The volume control is not a "swipe", it has to be clicked and held, this is slow and impractical, although you can get used to it over time.

I have been using the Nothing Ear (1) headphones for a month now and I am very happy with them. For their price, they offer really great value for money. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, especially when compared to my older Beats Solo3. The audio setup app is intuitive and allows me to customize my listening to my exact preferences. However, I did come across a few minor flaws. I miss the ability to manually adjust the volume. Furthermore, the headphones unfortunately do not fit me ideally, especially with more movement they tend to fall out of the ears, which can be uncomfortable. I have tried different sizes of plugs but unfortunately without success. After prolonged wearing, my earlobe starts to hurt (I have smaller ears). Overall, I rate the Nothing Ear (1) headphones very positively. The sound quality and customizability are a big plus for me. If it would fit better in my ears, it would be an ideal choice for me.
