Hi, Oculus was a great introduction to VR for me. I never imagined it would be such a change against PC gaming. In fact, I don' t even understand how I could have been without Beat Saber, Holopoint and First person tennis for so long: -D I tried to get the Oculus first with basic equipment and I say straight up, don' t do it. You will spoil the first impression, the strap is uncomfortable and does not hold, it is not balanced and the controls slide. Right at the beginning, on a recommendation, I bought an upgrade in the form of a Kiwi design faceplate, Elite strap (you can also buy the official one here on Alza, it is very similar) and protective rubbers on the controls for about 3300 CZK on Amazon, and that' s it real show. It' s a shame that Alza doesn' t sell it by itself, for CZK 18,000 the whole set would go on sale, because it really doesn' t work with that base. The first games were of course Beat Saber, which is now free to buy, and then First person tennis and Rec room. All are stationary games for which you only need very little space (basically to spread out, a wheel approx. 1.5 meters in diameter), but which will introduce you to the possibilities of today' s VR and draw you in. Then you get to games like Holopoint, a very hard game that needs a lot of space, but fitness like you' ve never experienced: -D For me, the Meta Oculus Quest 2 is a great introduction and a basic entry point to the VR world. Its variability thanks to the Standalone and Air-link options is unreal, while the quality of the games is absolutely beyond expectations, it' s not dicey anymore, but it' s actually very sophisticated.
