The batteries died in my now several Braun Oral-B toothbrush, so I purchased this duo pack (my daughter wanted a new one too, she no longer wanted the kids Oral-B: -)). It is an evolution of the previous brush, only it no longer has rubberized parts and is (except for a bit of the back) smooth and sometimes slippery. We'll see in the future. In the case of the brushes themselves, the possibility of colour differentiation by means of a coloured ring, which is attached to the bottom of the brush, has disappeared. This strikes me as the biggest loss, the oscillating head is used by my wife and I and now we have to differentiate the brushes differently (I bought a black and a white variant, we each have a different color, but before it was better).
Braun oscillating brushes are already a time-tested technology
