The basic driver is a very poor relation to the Edge

Complete satisfaction, excellent controller, almost identical in appearance to the basic Dualsense
button mapping, possibility to create multiple profiles
lightly rubberised rams on the inside
slightly heavier than the basic Dualsense, but nothing that would bother
function buttons
possibility to insert additional levers from the bottom side
possibility to adjust the depth of press on R2 and L2
possibility of replacing the whole levers with the internal mechanism
possibility of replacing the joints on the levers
braided long cable for charging with a lock against falling out
almost identical in colour to the basic Dualsense, but with black arrows and characters and touchpad
great price and speed at Alza, but I'm used to that, Alza is Top
I don't know about anything
the only thing I can think of is the price for someone

I am happy with the controller, after about 8 hours of playing I got used to the paddles and I am much faster in FPS games. The shorter battery life doesn't matter at all, I play 90% on the cable by the monitor anyway: -) fits in your hand a little better than a regular dualsense, for me it's definitely worth buying the controller if you play FPS shooters.

I would buy again, but the negatives are annoyingly numerous.
The paddles on the back are great for manual shifting in racing games, among other things. The controller is of course not comparable to the steering wheel, but I dare say it's halfway there.
The setup and quick switching of profiles is well done and integrated into the OS.
Quality workmanship of the driver and accessories. The Edge really feels better in the hand at first impression than the standard DualSense, which feels cheap when switched back. At the same time, I consider the classic DS to be really good. The Edge is just that much better.
The case is sturdy and, unlike the Xbox Elite, thoughtfully designed.
The Edge is compatible with a conventional charging stand.
The interchangeable stick modules seemed like a gimmick to me at first, but I guess I won't really complain about them in time - I've already claimed one classic DS because of stick drift. Moreover, the price of replacement modules is not exorbitant as for the driver itself.
Battery life. It doesn't happen to me that the battery doesn't last a few hours of gaming session, but if I don't put the controller on the charger after playing, I'm out of luck next time.
The price is too high.
The glossy cover on the front gets dirty quickly, as does the white rubberized part of the grips.
The method of charging the controller with a cable in the case is unintuitive and cumbersome, the Xbox Elite has it handled much better.
Function buttons are almost useless except for switching profiles. Both have exactly the same function and nothing else can be mapped to them. In addition, the volume control function is not compatible with the official PS headset. I don't really understand the reason.

Compared to Elite 2 from MS worse and significantly more expensive, but definitely an improvement over classic PS5 controllers. For the money but a tragedy, especially the endurance, when it is about 4-5 hours units (for comparison Elite 2 gives 40 hours and I actually charge it once a week)
Button adjustability
Buttons on the back
Absurd price
Absurd battery life (unbelievable that it has only 4-5h)
I prefer the left paw placement a la Xbox

Extra back paddles are simply a must have. This should be standard on all basic drivers by now, once I tried it I couldn't live without it.
I have about 5 controllers on my PS5, but because of the rear paddles I only use this one.
You can set the L3 and R3 buttons on the rear paddles, or for example in Spiderman, a combination of buttons for a special attack. I always got annoyed with pressing L3 and R3 while playing, so for example in Spiderman I had R3 sprint on one back paddle and L3 was a combo of square+triangle buttons to finish off the enemy.
Perhaps it has a smaller capacity than a classic controller, so it goes to the docking station more often.
